Start on Easy, a 5 × 5 board. Tap a square once to place a cat; tap it again to remove it. You do not need an account.
Why start Cat Sudoku with smaller regions?
A one-square region fixes a cat immediately. A narrow region restricts its cat to a small set of rows or columns. Use those restrictions before committing to a position.
How do you mark Cat Sudoku neighbors?
Turn on Mark and tap impossible squares to add a cross. A placed cat excludes its row, column, region and touching neighbors. Crosses are your working notes and are not checked as part of the solution.
When should you revisit a Cat Sudoku placement?
Undo restores the previous move. Erase clears the selected square. Hint removes an incorrect cat, or places one correct cat using the unique solution. It reveals an answer rather than explaining a deduction.
