How to solve Pixel Picross
Pixel Picross is a picture logic puzzle, also called a nonogram. Read the clues at the edges of the board to discover which squares belong to the hidden picture. A clue such as 1 1 means two single filled squares with at least one empty square between them. A clue of 5 on a five-square row fills the entire row.
- Start with the largest clues. Compare each row with its crossing columns before making a new fill.
- Switch to Mark X when a square must be empty. Marking helps separate runs without spending a heart.
- Use Zen Mode to practice without mistake penalties. A hint fills one correct square, and Undo restores your previous move.
Questions about Pixel Picross
- Is Pixel Picross a numeric Sudoku game?
- No. The numbers describe runs of filled squares; you uncover a pixel picture rather than enter digits.
- Does this edition save my puzzle?
- Yes. The current board, puzzle selection and progress save in this browser, separately from Plainoku's cat puzzles.
This independent local edition is based on Pixel Picross by VictoriousPark166. Its core gameplay and visual direction were observed in the reference; artwork, later puzzles and balancing are reconstructed. It runs from Plainoku’s own files and does not connect to the original game or a remote leaderboard.
