Connect powers of two in Exponent Grid
Exponent Grid is the game listed as Puzzle Game in its source collection. It fills a 5×5 board with powers of two. Connect two equal neighboring tiles to double the destination tile's value. A new low-number tile fills the square you left behind. The goal is to create 2048 and keep improving your browser-local best score.
- Look for equal neighbors rather than planning a whole-row slide. A 4 next to another 4 becomes an 8.
- Drag through a chain of matching neighbors to raise the combo multiplier. The growing destination tile must match the next tile in the chain.
- Use Undo to review a merge. With a keyboard, move the cursor with arrows or WASD, select tiles with Space and undo with Ctrl+Z.
Questions about Exponent Grid
- Is this the usual sliding-row 2048 game?
- No. Its observed core rule merges selected adjacent matching tiles, rather than sliding every tile in a row.
- What happens after reaching 2048?
- You can continue merging and increasing your score. The run ends when there are no adjacent equal tiles left.
